Perths vacancy rates rise again

The vacancy rate in Perth for the three months to July has etched up to 5.2%.

REIWA data shows that properties for rent have declined to 8,386 from 8,451. House rental listings have dropped by 2% while unit rentals listings are up 1%.

On the sales side, properties listed for sale has increased from 13,700 to 14,065. This represents an increase of 3%. This rise is the highest it have been in the last two months. The last peak was reported in the week ending 24 June 2015 at 14,250.
